About Fake Stake
Fake Stake is a free casino simulator. Every game runs on virtual credits with no cash value. We take no deposits, hold no funds and pay out nothing — ever.
Why It Exists
Casino originals like Mines, Plinko and Crash spread through streams and clips faster than anyone could explain how they actually work. A lot of people's first encounter with them is a real-money deposit, which is an expensive and stressful way to learn what a 40× multiplier target really costs you. This site is the version where you can find that out for free.
It is also, frankly, just fun. The games are good games. Stripping out the money does not remove the tension of deciding whether to cash out at 2.4× — it just removes the part where the answer costs you rent.
How It Works
Everything runs in your browser. Your balance is stored locally on your own device, which is why there is no account and no login: there is nothing to log in to. Reset your balance whenever you like using the ↺ button next to it in the header. Clearing your browser data will reset it too.
Game outcomes are generated locally using your browser's cryptographic random number generator. The odds and payout tables mirror the formats you would find at real crypto casinos so that what you learn here transfers — but the results are ours, simulated, and completely disconnected from any real operator.
Is This Gambling?
No. Gambling in the legal sense requires a stake of value, chance, and a prize of value. Fake Stake has only the middle one. You cannot deposit, you cannot withdraw, and there is nothing to win. That makes it a social casino and an entertainment simulator.
That said, the games simulate gambling closely, and the behaviours they encourage are real. We keep the site 18+ and we would rather be direct about the maths than pretend fake-money streaks mean something.
How We Pay For It
