How Plinko Works

Plinko is the simplest game on the site and the most hypnotic. A ball falls into a triangle of pegs and bounces left or right at every row until it lands in one of the payout slots along the bottom. But more rows also give the ball more chances to drift back toward the middle, so the odds of actually reaching an edge fall sharply — from 1 in 256 on 8 rows to 1 in 65,536 on 16.

For watching the maths work, 16 rows on medium risk is the clearest view. For a faster loop with more frequent small wins, 8 or 10 rows on low risk does the job.
